Job description
We are a private education provider focused on facilitating the needs of home-schooled students looking for a committed and hardworking teacher to join our team.
We are looking for teachers who must be a fully qualified Science teacher able to teach KS3-GCSE and A levels, preferably all three sciences namely Physics, Chemistry and Biology to GCSE and A levels.
Will be expected to teach groups of different ages and abilities.
Will be expected to plan lessons and activities appropriately and keep up to date progress reports.
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess degree or post graduate level qualification in Science subject
- Teaching experience either in school setting or as a tutor in the subject
- Be extremely organised
- Have excellent timekeeping
- Have a good rapport with children and teenagers
- Have excellent communication skills
- Understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality
- Have child safeguarding training or must be willing to obtain
Current workdays will be based around Monday-Fridays. There is potential for more hours during the weekend, however this is subject to contract and availabilities. The ideal candidate will be flexible.
We are looking for someone willing to start immediately.
