About usH Walton Ltd provide an efficient, complete service from the commodity market negotiations to final delivery by our own fleet of vehicles, providing a nationwide delivery service specialising from the Borders of Scotland down to the Midlands.Key elements of the Job Role will include but are not limited to:Hours of work are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.Liaising with drivers and hauliers regarding ongoing workDeal with any queries that may occur throughout the dayBooking in collections and deliveries with our hauliers and customersEntering/Updating jobs onto the system.Stock managementCreating collection references for our own fleet, hauliers, and customersSkills and Qualities:Previous experience in agricultural bulk logistics is preferred but not essentialProficient in data entry and computer systems including excelExperience with SAP is preferred but full training will be givenGood attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone etiquetteAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think criticallyAbility to work independently as well as within a teamAbility to work to deadlinesWell organised with strong administration skillsPlease note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.If you have the qualities listed above, we would love to hear from you.
