Our company is hiring an Audio Visual Technician to work in an exciting, team-oriented environment. We are looking for creative and innovative professionals who can operate independently to support our events and technical needs. .
This individual should also be proficient with the Windows and Mac operating systems, have experience with a variety of audio and lighting equipment, and have an exceptional understanding of audio principles and technical specifications.
Audio Feed is predominantly an audio installation company working in normal office hours, but during 3 months of the summer we carry out 6 large scale music projects which require working away for up to a week at a time. There will be a requirement to work outside of office hours, especially during the summer. The company also installs products overseas which may require international travel. The nature of the industry means that plans and customer requirements can change up until the last minute, and we as a company need to adapt quickly to deliver what our customers require.

The Role:
- Permanent Pro Audio Speaker Installation into venues and nightclubs
- Delivery, set up and manage large scale audio systems at 6 large events during the summer
- Design, installation and management of Pro Audio systems
- Managing the inventory system for the company’s equipment
- Managing other employees and sub-contractors
- Setting up and running audio systems and some lighting
- Working hours are Tuesday – Friday 9am -5pm, but in the summer we work away on projects away from home for up to a week at a time
Responsibilities:
- Management and maintenance of existing music venues
- Installation of new audio equipment into a variety of venues
- Project Management of large-scale music events during the summer time
- Preparation of equipment for installation or hire
Role requirements:
- Experience in a variety of audio equipment
- Experience in events, and audio installation
- Experience with Audio DSP preferred but not essential
- Some project management experience preferred but not essential
- The full driving licence with 6 points of less is required, and the applicant must be over the age of 25 to be covered by our vehicle fleet policy
- Work Permit to work in the UK
The . Basic salary is between £27.5k - £37.5k depending on experience, with overtime of circa £7.5k during the summer.
The job role can include a company vehicle.
