Accounts Administrator – Retford – £20,000 - £22,000

Chase & Holland are proud to be exclusively partnering this unique, modern accountancy practice, who are looking to recruit an Accounts Administrator for a newly created role. You will support the Accountant with bookkeeping and accounts administration duties including coding and processing receipts, scan, upload client paperwork and ensuring accuracy. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a people focused accountancy practice with a modern approach.

Key responsibilities include:

• Organising client paperwork
• Regularly communicating with clients

• Completing payroll and CIS returns for clients

• Inputting clients receipts and invoices in to spreadsheets

• Publishing client data into clients accounting software

• Consolidating clients’ spreadsheets
• Completing ID checks
• Scanning paperwork and uploading to online portals
• Coding in paperwork on online systems
• Other basic admin work including filing of confidential documents

The ideal candidate will be:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients on a day to day basis to build a relationship with them
• Good administration and organisational skills
• A proactive individual with the ability to work independently and as part of the team
• IT literate including Excel
• Detail oriented, accuracy and problem-solving mentality
