Job Purpose and Impact
Location UK - Scotland Westfield, Bathgate EH48 3BP
The Trainee Supply Chain Assistant, will be enter orders, appropriate paperwork and obtain and enter information into the applicable software’s.
In this role, you will execute tasks in a clean and orderly fashion, maintain minimums established, identify products or minimums to be maintained and process orders. Key Accountabilities
- Maintain inventory of sample units of products based on minimum inventory levels established and computer-generated reports and fill in as required to maintain inventory and ensure stock is rotated.
- Prepare delivery of customer orders following established procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with the various departments to ensure inventory of standard items and materials are sustained.
- Understand and comply with safety and procedural compliance regulations.
- Assist in the packaging, repackaging and shipping of items as needed to meet requests.
- Creation of shipping documentation, both domestic and export.
- Handle basic clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with email, spreadsheet and word processing applications
