MotorSport Vision (MSV) is the UK's leading race circuit operator, with several related motorsport businesses. MSV's circuits host a number of European and national race series including GT World Challenge, World Superbikes, British Touring Cars and the Bennetts British Superbike Championship.
We're currently looking for an Events Assistant to join our expanding team, based at Brands Hatch circuit in Kent. You will be an integral part of the Events Department, responsible for assisting in the organisation of multiple automotive festival events across all five MSV venues: Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Snetterton, Oulton Park and Cadwell Park.
The role will cover all aspects of department administration, as well as involving ownership of key content related to the delivery of specific events.
As the Events Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Developing key motorsport and automotive anniversary themes and content for events
- Sourcing relevant and show-enhancing content, including key display and demonstrating vehicles, and promoting via relevant channels including social media
- Handling incoming department enquiries by telephone and email
- Curating and taking ownership of car and bike club displays databases and relationships
- Working with the Project Events Co-ordinator and Project Events Manager to ensure revenue generating opportunities are maximised across all events
- Providing creative input to improve and enhance the visitor experience
- Assisting during the build-up, open and close down period for events, working in conjunction with the Project Events Co-ordinator and Project Events Manager
- Ensuring key documentation is disseminated to all relevant parties across the MSV group
- Travelling to and attending relevant weekend events across the MSV circuit portfolio
- The production of event-related paperwork and the inputting of event information on website and social media channels
- Attending industry functions and exhibitions when required
- Being the central point of contact for third party contractors
