Event Manager - FTC
London
As a Barclays Event Manager - 12 months fixed term contract, you will work across all business areas delivering a diverse portfolio of events, from small high-end dinners and bespoke VVIP offerings to large internal engagement events and large-scale client activations. You will work with all planners work on end-to-end project management, on solo projects and in project teams. This is a key role to develop and execute a diverse range of events, ensuring activity is aligned with business objectives, policies & procedures and our marketing/ communications strategies.

What will you be doing?
- Delivering of events of all sizes, from simple activations to large flagship projects - including colleague engagement, large client activations and high-end experiences
- Managing large budgets, timelines, project plans, external suppliers internal non-ERH pro-ject teams, venue and suppliers, managing negotiation skills
- Working with internal clients and stakeholders to translate business objectives into activa-tions
- Adhering to all team processes, policies and controls, using internal systems effectively, and following our health and safety risk assessment procedures for all events
- You will be responsible for delegating management to include invitation production, joining instructions and on-site management
- Managing of speaker and host management including agenda design, speaker recommen-dations, collation of presentations, speaker briefings and management of any require-ments
- Preparing event collateral including detailed on-site schedules, post-event evaluations/ surveys as required and post-event debrief meetings
- Acting as an ambassador for the function and engage with colleagues across Corporate Relations and the firm
What we’re looking for:
- Currently working in an end-to-end event management role with experience of managing event project teams
- Significant professional experience running end to end events, including budget, stake-holder and logistics management, including producing Virtual events on TalkPoint
- Aptitude and ability to navigate the following technology systems: OneEvent, iPlanner, SAP, Aventri, iConference, Concur and BTS
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Ppt, Word, Excel)
- Proven professional experience of managing large scale events and event project teams of planners
- Knowledge of London and Europe venue and industry
- Regional Languages an advantage
