English Teacher
Are you an ECT, or experienced English Teacher looking for a new challenge? Or perhaps a teacher of another subject that has experience in teaching English & looking for a change of scenery, open to hearing about new roles?
If so, then you’re in luck! Because 3D recruit are currently working with an Ofsted ‘Good’, Maidstone-based Secondary school that have a deep artistic heritage, with incredible Art created by pupils, placed all around the school grounds, that are looking for a Teacher to join their English department in September 2023.
This is a long-term supply position & in this role, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, delivering & marking work from engaging English lessons to KS3 & KS4 pupils.
The English Teacher
The successful applicant for this position will be joining an exciting & well established English department, where you will be working collaboratively with students & colleagues to deliver outstanding lessons.
This is a full-time role for a resilient individual who will commit to joining a school with a clear vision of what they want to achieve as well as strong ethos.
The ideal Candidate for this role will:
- Be confident to deliver lessons to students of various abilities and age groups in a fun way that engages the class
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes academic growth
- Have QTS (preferred, but not essential)
- Confident taking control of a class of around 30 pupils
- Have experience in teaching English as a subject
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with current educational practices
- Experience in a classroom setting is necessary
