You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of technology services to all customers. You'll be responsible for the administration of customer networks, both on-premises and cloud, and ensuring all help desk requests are handled in a professional and timely manner. The role will be hybrid working from the office and field work at customer premises when required. You'll also be tasked with ensuring all cyber security controls are fully deployed and in alignment with policy and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a team on the help desk.
- Provide technical support to clients and customers by phone, e-mail, and in person.
- Diagnose and solve technical problems for clients and customers.
- Communicate effectively with clients and support team members.
- Systematically troubleshoot problems.
- Create and update documentation.
- Research industry trends.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
If you have a strong understanding of Microsoft services, O365, Azure and a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in administering Microsoft technologies, you are the ideal fit for this role. You will need experience of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and security technologies. Any VoIP PBX experience is a bonus as will build and supply our own telephone systems too. You should also have a proven track record of delivering support to a large user base and the ability to translate complex technical issues into simple language that end-users can easily understand. You will have the ability to work on customer projects from simple builds to complex hybrid platforms, including phone systems.
