Job description
We are currently looking to employ an engineering labourer to join our growing team.
The role will be workshop based with on site fitting of railings, balconies, handrails etc. and experience in this field would be an advantage. Candidates must hold a valid CSCS card to be considered for this position.
Duties would include:
- Support welders & fabricators.
- Cutting and de-burring of stock materials and preparing them for welding.
- Grinding and polishing of welds to a very high standard.
- Maintain a tidy workshop environment, sweeping up, including waste management as required.
You will require:
- Good practical skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and have the initiative to work alone.
- An interest or experience with metalworking and welding would be beneficial.
- The ability to work to a high level of quality.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Pro active and positive attitude.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Ability to work to health and safety requirements.
- Be physically fit.
- Immediate start for the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
