Hours :
Part time working from 11am to 5pm
Monday to Friday
(We are flexible and open to considering other schedules for this role so please discuss)
*You must be available for Immediate start*
Responsible for:
- Meeting and greeting clients, collecting their documents, checking for accuracy and signatures
- Receiving and handling post including scanning and distribution
- Maintaining the filing system (both paper and e-mail based). Ensuring paper copies are held on the appropriate file. Archiving and retrieving files and deeds from storage as required.
-Taking and relaying messages (ensuring that lawyers and clients receive those messages promptly, particularly if they are out of the office)
- Any copying, faxing, printing or scanning required by lawyers, including preparation of large files, preparing letters for post and taking daily post to the post office
- Being eyes, hands and ears, for lawyers working remotely. I.e filling in documents, checking paperwork, basically facilitating others working remotely
- Banking cheques and cash as required
This job will suit you if you:
- have previous experience working in an office environment
- Familiar with tools such as Microsoft word, excel and using a photocopier
- Do not mind working on your own initiative
- Do not mind working alone on simple administrative tasks
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
