Job description
What you'll be doing:
- Completing a Level 3 Maintenance Technician apprenticeship via our training partners - a structured programme of training conducted within the state-of-the-art Mechanical and Electrical Engineering departmental workshops
- Contribute to a healthy and safe working environment by working to our approved codes of practice
- Become proficient in the application and use of a wide range of machine tools
- Develop fitting and assembly skills
- Electrical maintenance and fault-finding investigations
- Training in the use of mechanical & electrical software packages
- Carrying out other tasks and duties as directed that contribute to the required levels of performance and competence

What we'd like from you:
- Ideally 5 GCSEs at grades A* to C (9 to 4) – but for the right person, this isn’t essential
