Sustainable Energy Ltd is a leading independent UK engineering consultancy specialising in district heat networks. We are seeking graduates to join our growing decarbonisation and decentralised energy team.
Based in central Cardiff, we have delivered leading innovating renewable energy projects for our clients since 1998. Our team of independent district heating and decentralised energy consultants has delivered the advisory services for the implementation of many high profile UK heat networks, large scale renewable energy capacity and infrastructure to make major UK contribution to decarbonisation. Job Summary
You will be required to contribute to numerous renewable and low carbon district energy projects throughout the UK. Your work will contribute to the feasibility, detailed design and management of projects.
Duties will include:
- Data collection and the analysis of large data sets
- Site visits
- Contributing to decentralised energy studies from masterplans through to construction
- Techno-economic modelling of district energy schemes
- Production of design outputs for district energy schemes
- Developing design drawings and specifications
- Reporting to clients and project team
Applicants for this role will (essential):
- Hold a relevant engineering or science degree
- Have a desire to work to decarbonise the UK’s energy systems and play an active role in climate change mitigation
- Be proficient in using MS Office packages
- Understand decentralised energy and decarbonisation
Applicants for this role will (desirable):
- Hold a higher qualification
- Have specialised in renewable / low carbon energy generation and / or distribution
Some work outside normal office hours and travel to client sites throughout the UK may be required.

Salary: From £26,000.00 per year
