We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Administrator to be based at The e Kings Ferry Gillingham.
What you'll do...
- Upkeep and maintain the vehicle documentation and filing systems.
- Scan and file engineering documentation.
- Carry out new vehicle set up documentation on digital systems.
- Assist with the engineering vehicle planning function for MOT, tacho, servicing.
- Provide data that is accurate and timely for requested reports.
- Raise purchase orders for suppliers using digital systems where requested.
- Audit preparation as requested.
- Create and update job cards as requested.
- Update and upkeep of engineering reference charts.
- Maintain department asset register.
- Process contractor’s paperwork or digital correspondences.
- Process Engineers overtime and additional payments for payroll
- Assist Stores Person with stock audits and associated records
What you'll need...
- Previous administration experience required
- Professional telephone manner
- Good level of computer literacy, able to use Google based programs in addition to Microsoft
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive in approach to work
- Uses initiative and can make quick decisions
- Flexible and positive attitude, with the ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
- Interest in Engineering
