Chubb now has an opportunity for a Mechanical Service Engineer to cover the M4 Corridor from Swindon across to the West country and South Wales. The main goal of this role is to ensure all Chubb Fire Mechanical customers are serviced on time to the highest standards. You will provide a high level of customer service and mechanical solution to ensure our customer requirements are met
We are interested to speak to any engineer with experience of Sprinklers or Gas suppression who are willing to be trained in another discipline.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and service customer systems, specifically gas suppression, sprinkler, foam and Water mist systems and report confidently and in detail on faults and recommendations.
- Manage your own workload to provide a high level of service.
- Ensure you are working to and fully conversant and compliant with all Health & Safety Procedures
- Respond to client callouts, working on an out of hours on-call Rota (periodically)
- Provide a high level of detail and accuracy to all documentation
- Develop new and maintain existing relationships with clients. Be the face of Chubb.
- Work Closely with the Service Operations Manager, Customer Service and Sales Team
- Manage Diary and territory efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications/ Experience/Knowledge:
- Previous experience within a Service Engineer / Fitter (Mechanical Engineering) role, preferably working with suppression systems and or sprinkler systems.
- Have worked within the field, amongst different sites/customers.
- Be confident and professional, always delivering a positive customer/client experience
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Ability to multi task
- A real can-do attitude
- Hold a Full UK Driving License.
