This important role works in the context of our NHS Talking Therapies service across Peterborough to provide holistic and skills-based interventions, information, and practical support to help people receiving Talking Therapy services to:
- Retain employment
- Exchange employment for another more suitable role
- Return to employment from a period of sickness absence from work
- Access employment for the first time or after a substantial period of absence from the labour market
About you
We would love to hear from you if you possess the following:
- Experience of working in mental health or social care sector and providing advice, guidance and employment support to people with disabilities or other vulnerable groups.
- Ability to collate and analyse data and present material clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, use own judgement and make decisions.
- Be reflective of own working practices and open to change and improvement
- Very good organisational and time management skills, able to manage and prioritise own work.
- A thorough understanding of the support needs of vulnerable individuals in relation to gaining employment.
- Experience working in a IAPT service (desirable)
Please note, the successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday (9am - 5;30pm).
