We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Email Marketing Manager to join our Digital Engagement team. You will join us working 35 hours per week, on a permanent basis and will be based remotely. In return you will receive a salary of up to £39,772.80 per annum plus excellent benefits.
Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity with a nationwide network of adoption and homing centres, volunteer-run branches and charity shops. During 2021, we helped 137,000 cats and kittens. That's the equivalent of around 375 cats a day!
Cats Protection’s Digital Engagement team, based in the Marketing and Income Generation Directorate, looks after social media, email marketing and video production for our popular social media channels. Small but busy, the Digital Engagement team produces insightful email marketing campaigns, informative cat care videos and inspiring social media content. We work hard at building an engaged community of cat lovers online so that we can promote better feline welfare, raise funds and create a better world for cats.. You’ll be involved in national campaigns, regional communications, vital infrastructure workstreams and more, all while working closely with teams from across the organization.
Responsibilities of our Email Marketing Manager:
As our Email Marketing Manager you will be responsible for managing the email team and delivering the charity’s email marketing and engagement programmes to meet the charity’s strategic objectives. You will lead on the strategy to drive and implement engaging and informative email communication programmes, grow sustainable income and maximise the long-term return on investment for individual donors.
What we’re looking for in our Email Marketing Manager:
- good experience of managing a similar function and working with external agencies
- line management experience
- proven experience of achieving digital marketing growth against agreed targets
- a good working knowledge of email marketing and ecommerce strategy and best practice
