Due to continued growth, we are looking for a new Test & Repair Engineer to work within our returns department team. The position is a full-time contract and the successful candidate will be punctual, hardworking and responsible for ensuring all their tasks are complete.
Responsibilities of the role
- Process returns within 48 hours of receiving the delivery.
- Electronically test and repair customer returns, to a high standard.
- Diagnosing, fault find and repair down to component level.
- Communicate with our suppliers to return faulty products
- Complying with the company’s health and safety practices
Required skills and experience
- The ability to complete audio and lighting component repairs.
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Debug and repair PCB assemblies at a component level.
- Be computer literate.
- Commercial awareness.
- Excellent time management and punctuality.
- Have a positive can do attitude.
- To be thorough and pay attention to detail.
Desirable skills and experience
- Previous experience in a similar electronics repair role is a distinct advantage.
- Experience of, or an interest in, audio and lighting electronic products.
