The LINK (Redcar) CIC
Full Time Middlesbrough, England 27005 - 32924 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

The Link is a Middlesbrough based professional mental health and emotional wellbeing provider. We provide therapeutic services to children, young people and families across the North East including Redcar & Cleveland, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees and Darlington. Our services include a wide range of workshops and training, therapeutic assessments, one to one therapeutic interventions including specialist therapies and Children and Young People Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (CYP IAPT) evidence-based therapies.

The Link, along with other voluntary and community sector providers have formed a partnership to create the South Tees (Middlesbrough & Redcar) Mental Health Support Team, also known as The InsideOut Team. We work with, and in schools, supporting children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues, through the whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing.

We are currently recruiting 1 x Full time Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to start with our organisation in April 2023.

In line with the government’s priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the new Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) role is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people. Successful candidates will be employed on a full-time basis and will be based within the InsideOut Team, to deliver mental health support across a range of educational settings in the South Tees.

The post requires working from various schools/locations across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland, where multiple venues may be visited each day. Access to a car is therefore essential for this post, as some locations are not easily accessed via bus routes.

We are happy to accept applications from candidates who are awaiting results and due to finish the Trainee EMHP course early 2023.
