Education Health and Care Co-Ordinator
We are recruiting EHC Coordinators within the Special Educational Needs (SEN) Assessment Service in Ealing to coordinate the statutory assessment and Educational Health Care Planning process (EHCP) for children and young people with special educational needs. You will be actively involved in working in partnership with families to improve their experience of the process and to promote the principles of the SEND reforms.
You will have your own caseload and will be responsible for coordinating the assessment, liaising with early years’ settings, schools/colleges and drafting educational health care plans (EHCP).
This is a highly demanding role but you will be working in an experienced and supportive team and have many opportunities to extend your skills and experience. Continuous professional development is actively encouraged.
This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016
