Due to the retirement of a long-standing member of staff and the expansion of our greens team, an opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals to join us at York Golf Club
York Golf Club is York’s oldest golf club founded in 1890 and has been at its current site since 1904. The course is ranked in the top ten courses in Yorkshire and has an excellent reputation, particularly for the quality of its greens.
The successful candidates will report to the Course Manager and help maintain the 18-hole heathland course to the high standards expected by our members and visitors.
Skill Set:
- 40 Hour week with weekend work available on overtime pay.
- Experience in operating a wide range of modern machinery.
- Ability to work on own or part of a team.
- Attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Ability to carry out routine machinery maintenance.
- Spraying qualifications would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must be able to work some weekends on a rota basis.

Basic pay - £26,500

Overtime: Weekend overtime available regularly – circa £3/4,000 extra p.a.
