An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the e-Systems EDMS Scanning Departmentat Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust as an EDMS Clerk. You will work in an administration focused role as part of the Document Scanning Team in the Sheffield Children's Hospital.

The postholder will be a key member of the EDMS Scanning Team , that provides acomprehensive clerical, scanning and quality assurance service. EDMS are a fantastic team, who excel in providing efficient support to each other and the service. Communication and sharing knowledge with each other helps to improve the team’s efficiency and quality of work, together with the respect and support given to each other to achieve a common goal.
EDMS Clerks will be able to work as part of a busy team, have an accurate attention to detail, and be able to work to conflicting and challenging deadlines.
- Responsible for the creation, transportation, retrieval, pre-scan preparation, scanning and quality assurance of episode folders and their contents for outpatient clinics and in patient admissions.
- EDMS use several different systems that assist in proving this service including Evolve & Careflow.
Your role will be part of a team of 20 (split across the week), who produce and facilitate the administrative requirements for patient records to be created. Additionally, the second key aspect of the role is to scan and maintain the quality of electronic records .These are for both outpatient and inpatient episodes.
The eDMS Service is Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 08:00 pm. You will be expected to be flexible to work shifts between these times. Shift patterns will be available to view at interview.
