St Peter & St James Hospice is set in 36 acres of beautiful and peaceful Sussex countryside and provides specialist hospice care for adults towards and at the end of life both at the Hospice and at home.
We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to medical staff, helping patients with their daily needs, and providing support to ensure that all medical procedures are carried out safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient care.
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain patient records and charts.
- Assist in the administration of medications.
- Assist with medical tests and examinations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £20,925.00-£21,450.00 per year
