INTO; Full Time; Fixed- Term
EAP Teachers
INTO University of Exeter (On-campus & Online)
Fixed-term contracts for 18, 10 & 6 week PSE courses
Full-time (37.5 hours p/week)
£33,000
INTO University of Exeter are opening applications for highly motivated EAP professionals, to join us on a full-time basis to support our 18, 10 & 6 week Pre-sessional English courses.
We will be offering both on campus and online modes of delivery. We are anticipating higher demand for on campus programmes and so preference will be given to teachers who are able to commit to on campus delivery. A full induction and set of in-house teaching materials are provided for each of the courses.
Requirements
Ideally you will have a Master’s degree in a relevant area (e.g. TESOL, Applied Linguistics) AND/OR a DELTA or equivalent teaching qualification. Candidates with a CELTA (or equivalent) and relevant teaching experience may also be considered.
You will need to be an exceptional teacher, able to provide academic and pastoral support to international students, and preferably have experience of having taught and assessed English for Academic Purposes previously, ideally on a Pre-sessional programme.
We will be using Microsoft Teams to deliver components of both the online and on campus courses, so experience using this platform to teach would be desirable.
Whether you are teaching online or on campus, you must be UK based for the duration of the programme and have the right to work in the UK.
