Job description
Automotive Controller needed for family owned dealership in the Queens, NY market. The current Controller, who has been with the company 12+ years, has been commuting from NJ for years and is leaving on good terms to take a position closer to their home due to increased family obligations. The Controller hired will report directly to the Dealer Principal and will oversee a strong long-term Office Manager and another accounting assistant. The successful candidate is an experienced automotive Controller who can close out the month, submit the financial statement, and is actively involved in the day-to-day accounting functions as this is a hands-on Comptroller role. Must be honest, ethical, and reliable. This is a great long-term opportunity with a family owned dealership that has been in business for decades. The successful candidate will have CDK experience and be looking for a "home" with this family owned dealer. Automotive Accounting experience is mandatory for this position, candidates without automotive accounting experience will not be considered.
Compensation:
- Compensation will be in the $125,000 range depending on experience.
- Full benefits package will be provided
Schedule:
- 5 day work week, Monday - Friday.
