The Opportunity
Obtaining and up-selling parts and service orders, creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer’s buying experience. Provide consistently high levels of customer service to customers and accounts, reaching business targets through excellent telephone sales and communication skills.
The Role
- Responsible for Consignment management including winding supplies and bearings and ensures the branch has all the proper motors and parts in stock from the OEM’s, Inside Sales and receives incoming calls for all equipment sales from customers.
- Open job orders and issue requisitions to purchase for product sales
- Works collaboratively with production staff for Monthly and Quarterly inventory requirements
- Respond to customers via phone, fax or email for quotes, purchases, etc. in a timely manner
- Assist with writing up NCR’s, lessons learned and making changes to Training Matrix, plant procedures, etc.
- Assist with Audit requests requirements which may involve physically reviewing inventory on site to verify accuracy and identify address issues
- Assist with quoting of products and reporting when required
- Assist with writing of technical reports for repairs utilizing standard templates
- Support business administrator as required and fill in as necessary
The Candidate
Work Experience: 2-3 years related experience in a sales support or business administration
Knowledge: Knowledge of motors/parts; Ability to transition / grow into a Product Support Rep.
Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, ERP (Traverse), completion of ongoing product training
