As part of CIO Enterprise Services, you will help to drive the delivery of a suite of Risk reporting engines, which span Retail and Corporate Banks.

Delivering the requirements agreed with the product owners with the higher technical standards
Designing and enhancing the technical solution for the new features
Improving the technical solution of existing products in scope for the team
Providing support and maintenance for the existing products while they are live.
What you’ll bring.
A solid experience in IT build and development, systems design, and solution architecture
Very good experience in Big Data architecture and programming languages (Apache Spark)
Very good communication skills, being able to translate technical requirements to non-technical partners and to deliver clear solutions
Have a flexible and ‘can do’ attitude with a strong sense of initiative with the ability to learn fast and deal calmly with situations under pressure
Good experience of carrying out data and process analysis to create specifications documents
Good understanding of TDD, CI/CD, automated testing practices and basic Unix scripting and control-m scheduler knowledge.
It would also be nice for you to have.
Good understanding of cloud technologies, in particular AWS and Infrastructure as Code and knowledge of a wide range of programming languages (Java, Python) and technologies.
Have strong organisation and planning skills to contribute to multiple projects and products so that promises are delivered.
Have a deep experience working in Financial Services / Banking organisation with an understanding of Financial Services / Retail, Business and Corporate Banking
Experience of working with end users to plan and execute user acceptance testing
What else you need to know.
The role is primarily based in Milton Keynes with some flexibility for travel to other Santander locations will also be required.
