Engineer Innovation
This role is in our Energy & Utilities team. We also welcome applications from graduates with 6-12 months experience.
Be Challenged
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Graduate Engineer to join our Energy & Utilities team based in our London team.
Our UK Energy team sits within Buro Happold Cities and contains over 30 engineers, scientists, geographers and commercialisation consultants. The team work throughout the project lifecycle from national scale spatial energy system analytics through to detail design of some of the most innovative district energy and smart grid installation.

What degree would I have studied:
We welcome people into our team with a broad range of experience. Typical degrees include:
- Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical Power Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
- Numerical science degree areas e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics
About you:
- Interest and exposure to the utilities sector
- Comfortable and strong interest in commercial aspects of consultancy
- Comfortable with data modelling
- Possessing initiative and able to thrive in a team environment
- Able to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible manner, verbally and in writing
- Comfortable executing project deliverables within a given timeframe
