Are you a skilled driver looking for flexible working hours? Lightcliffe Logistics is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Casual Driver to join our team. As a Casual Driver, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours while enjoying the open road and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of new and used vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Safely and responsibly operate a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, or trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Transport vehicles to designated locations as per the company's requirements.
Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance.
Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
Communicate effectively with the team to coordinate pickup and drop-off schedules.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or inquiries from clients in a professional manner.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a driver, preferably with experience in commercial driving.
Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
Ability to adapt to various road and weather conditions.
Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
