Job description

The Students’ Union at UWE is looking for an imaginative Content Creator to join its energetic Marketing Team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high quality and engaging content to a wide range of audiences, who will help to bring our marketing campaigns to life, which inform students about all the enriching opportunities available to them while at UWE Bristol.

The successful candidate will be a creative thinker who lives and breathes social media, who is meticulous and has impeccable communication and writing skills. They will be able to research, develop and deliver content across a range of traditional and digital platforms, including web, email and social media, which really resonates with our student audience. They will also be proactive, well organised and full of fresh ideas about how to engage with our students, staff and the University.

We are seeking a candidate with a high standard of education, preferably to degree level (or equivalent), and previous experience, or knowledge, of working within a communications or marketing role.

Salary: £23,082

Hours per Week: 37 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7, Monday-Friday

* Given the nature of the post, weekend and evening working will be required with notice to achieve the desired outcomes at key times of the year.

Holiday: 27 Days + Closure Days + Bank Holidays ‘pro rata’

Duration of Role: Permanent

Location: Based at Frenchay Campus- Bristol

*The postholder may be required to work at, or from any of the Union’s establishments (Bower Ashton Campus, Glenside Campus etc)
