As a driver for the Partnership, you will promote the Partnership brand through a professional and courteous manner to other road users.
Complete the 12 month Customer Delivery Driver Trainee programme to become a fully competent John Lewis Customer Delivery Installer.
Hours of work
41 hours per week.
Monday to Saturdays
Our Drivers work 4 days out of 6 (Monday - Saturday) which means you’ll enjoy 3 days off each week to maintain a healthy work/life balance. We also offer overtime when required so there’s potential to top up your earnings.

Duties & Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
Your typical day will start with completing all daily vehicle checks and following correct defect reporting procedures. After you have safely loaded / checked your route you will then undertake your deliveries and collections for the day alongside your colleague.
Communication with your customers is key and you will need to ensure you call every customer 30 minutes before you are due to arrive. Upon arrival you will deliver the customers goods to their room of choice and undertake any services that have been booked. These may include:
Installation and disconnection of white goods
Assembly of flat pack
TV installations
Finally, you will offer to take away the packaging.
Upon return to the customer delivery hub, you will complete your end of day vehicle check and debrief, ensuring any issues/defects are reported.

Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Must be aged 18 or over
Full, clean Category B driving license and previous driving experience
Essential Experience:
Strong verbal communication skills both over the phone and face to face
Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role
Desirable Experience:
Good local geographical knowledge
Installation and disconnection of white goods
TV installations
Assembly of flat packs
