Job Details as Domestic Assistant:

  • Job Type: Full-Time

  • Salary: 9.50 Pound per hour

  • Shift timings: 12 hours shift

Responsibilities as Domestic Assistant:

1. Undertake cleaning of the home so that all areas of the home, furniture and equipment are cleaned regularly

By

  • Completing allocated daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
  • Ensuring the timely completion of allocated tasks.
  • Completion of cleaning tasks to the required standard.
  • Working around the schedules of the Residents without disruption to clinical or care activities.
  • Giving consideration to Residents’ comfort and convenience while cleaning in their presence.

2. Assist in maintaining the overall presentation of the home to a high standard as required.

By

  • Re-arranging all furniture, articles and ornaments in the lounge and dining areas as required following cleaning.
  • Re-arranging all furniture, articles and ornaments in the reception, corridors and landings as required following cleaning.
  • Arranging all garden furniture attractively.
  • ·Cleaning dining areas and clearing up crockery and cutlery throughout the home after mealtimes.
  • Promptly clearing all spillages.
  • Clearing all bins or litter that may be lying around.

3. Assist in preparing and maintaining unoccupied bedrooms ready for viewing.

By

  • Thoroughly cleaning the bedroom, including the bed and shampooing of the carpet, if applicable.
  • Re-arranging the room to present it attractively.

4. Distribute supplies promptly as required.

By

  • Replenishing toilet tissues / rolls, soaps etc.

5. Assist in managing storage.

By

  • Promptly storing all supplies delivered in the correct places, except for catering, care or clinical items.
  • Returning all cleaning supplies and equipment to designated storage areas.
  • Undertaking cleaning and tidying of all storage areas as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £9.50 per hour
