Job description
We are looking for an incredibly special person to join the team at The Animal Days.
You’ll be working in our team of self-employed subcontractors giving bespoke dog walks, 4 days a week, between the hours of 0930 and 1430.
The Animal Days has a reliable, trustworthy and excellent reputation for dogs in our care. Our walks are mostly off lead, (or on training lines), in open fields, or down the beach. And our clients recommend us because of the service we provide. Which means we are growing rapidly, and a new dog walker is needed to share our vision.
TAD’s motto is ‘bespoke care for when you can’t be there’. This means we are looking for a physically fit person, who is happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ideally with excellent time-keeping skills and a general positivity about you. Plus, you can think outside the box, and be open to trying new things!
We need our clients reassured that a reliable, confident and loving walker is putting their dog at the heart of everything they do.
ESSENTIAL:
- You must have a full driving licence
- Access to vehicle with ability to transport maximum 3 dogs
- A fully insured car (business use) that is capable of transporting a maximum of 3 dogs (we’ll supply the covers and dog guard if required)
- Up-to-date tax and MOT (check here)
- a basic DBS-check (cost £18 via gov.uk, apply during onboarding)
- Work in all-weathers
DESIRABLE:
- Pet First Aid training (we’ll assist if you don’t)
- Previous experience in a similar role (must be confident with dogs)
- Be available 4 days a week, between roughly 9 till 3pm (flexible hours)
