In the newly created role of Project Manager, you will co-ordinate people and processes to ensure that ‘whole’ project management for small to large scale capital investments and optimisations for the site, are delivered on time and produce the desired results. Additionally you will project manage our New Product Development process as well as our Scale Up Process as we take our high performing technology to production and the market.
You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organisation and timeline. Stakeholder management is key, along with ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and management of change, including completion of the required risk assessments.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead project teams to ensure project deliverables meet the plan.
- Manage capital investment projects and deliver on time and on budget.
- Ensure compliance with management of change, including the completion of the required risk assessments and appropriate commissioning and validation protocols. Ensure that all new investments are fully compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure that spend on capital projects are reported in line with company requirements.
- Work with site management team to develop long term (3-5 years) capital planning.
- Work with the site management teams and EHS to ensure that all projects are delivered safely with any potential impact on production or supply mitigated.
- Work with the Global Technical Director to ensure all New Product Development projects have a clear priority, objectives, and stage gate review schedule.
- Work with R&D Chemists to develop project plan. Ensure trial and conversion plans are developed and ready to allow the smooth running of trials in line with agreed plans.
- Manage Scale Up process from R&D, through Scale Up lab to an effective and robust manufacturing process either on site or for technology transfer to another site.
- Develop task level project plans with key stakeholders to ensure new products are delivered on time and following Company procedures.
- Work with the business to promote and support high quality project management in line with project management framework and report back to sponsors and Steering committee.
- Work with purchasing and suppliers to ensure appropriate materials are available for Scale Up trials.
- Ensure DFMEA is completed and all necessary inputs for start of PFMEA process prepared. Work with Quality and Manufacturing to ensure manufacturing capability studies are carried out, manufacturing risks explored and ameliorated.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong Project Management qualification, for example, Prince 2/PMP/AgilePM/CSPO, with evidence of a track record of successful project completions.
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- Ongoing commitment to training and continuous personal development.
