As a Dispensing Assistant you will...
- Accurately pick, label and dispense medication against private electronic prescriptions
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in patient safety through near-miss reporting
- Self-check your own work before a final check is carried out by others
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and report issues or concerns with processes to the Responsible Pharmacist
- Support the Dispensary Manager in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dispensary
- Carry out dispensary housekeeping and stock quality checks
- Assist the Dispensary Manager in managing dispensary stock levels
- Perform administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the dispensary
You'll need to have...
- NVQ Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent), or in progress
- At least 2 years' experience of working in a community, online, or hospital setting
