Job description
Day to day communication, via phone/text with an assigned fleet of drivers to ensure proper load instructions are given and carried out
Assign appointment for freight deliveries and pick ups to trucks and manifest shipments
Monitor driver performance and report to manager
Provide exceptional customer service
Manage service concerns and communicate to manager
Co ordinate with Load Source to keep them updated on any issues with the fleet
Maintain knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices
Maintain knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
Dispatch personnel according to schedules and orders
Maintain computer aided communications and dispatching programs
Must be able to multi task and be able to prioritize urgency

Be self motivated, flexible and professional
Knowledge of Axon Software, Omnitracs and PC Miler are considered an asset
Bilingualism an asset but not required
Remuneration:
Salary based on 40 hours per week
Paid on call rotation
