As a successful candidate you will have:

A passion for a career in E-commerce and good standard of IT literacy. You will receive training on the job on all aspects of E-commerce.

You will write persuasive item descriptions balancing the experience, benefits, and features of any given product, to create informative and high-converting copy. Key responsibilities will be the daily up-keep of our entire catalogue online along with current marketing campaigns on our Magento 2 website.

You will be working with an award-winning team which will give you the potential to gain a vast amount of experience in multiple skill sets and to liaise with other departments from Purchasing, Marketing, Customer service and Operations.

Duties of the role will include but are not limited to:

· Site and order management: Reviewing suspected fraud orders, organising of freight and international orders, setting up of student accounts.

· Product listing optimization: conducting keyword research and implementing into product titles, descriptions to optimize for search while being informative for customers. Ensuring product images are of high quality and represent the product.

· Monitoring Pricing and Promotions: implement promotional campaigns, monitor, and set up of coupon and discount strategies, keeping pricing up to date.

· Cross selling and upselling: Research buying behaviour to implement strong cross-sell and upselling strategies.

· Product performance analysis: Monitor and analyse product performance metrics such as sales, Conversion rate and customer reviews.

· Site and order management: Monitor and implement improvements to improve overall customer experience online, manage and review of orders for fraud, organise pallet orders and support international customers.

· Writing Content: Writing blogs & promotional ad copy with SEO best practices in mind.

Essential Criteria

· GCSEs in English or Maths, Grades A-C or equivalent.

· Strong writing skills.

· Proven standard of IT literacy.

· Communication skills both written and verbal.

Desirable Criteria

· Creative writing experience

· SEO experience

· Experience with Magento 2 or other Website platforms

· Basic understanding of Code (HTML, CSS)

· Pet lover
