About us
Subway are the world’s largest restaurant brand, and we have big plans for the future. We’re on a journey to revolutionise our digital customer experience and put our customers at the heart of our digital products. We’re growing our EMEA Digital team, working with our priority markets across Europe and our Global teams to build out digital experiences that make a real difference to the businesses of our franchise owners.

Our competitors have invested heavily in digital, so we have some catching up to do – but we don’t want to settle for average. We want to create digital products that our customers love and develop market-leading and innovative propositions that challenge the same-old industry norms and reflect the ambition of our business.

We make the best sandwiches – and now we want to make the best digital experiences.

About the job
Responsible for overseeing key Digital Products in the EMEA region you will be accountable for ensuring best-in-class digital products that delight our Guests, Sandwich Artists and Franchisees.

You will work with the Head of Digital Sales Channels to establish the product strategy and work with teams across Technology, Operations and Analytics to deliver these into market. You will guide the future product roadmap for EMEA, identifying opportunities to continuously optimise the conversion of traffic to our digital products.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Create a best-in-class digital experience by developing solutions, concepts, and features that are in service to the guest and the franchisee while growing company revenue.
  • Identify and implement overall EMEA digital product roadmap in alignment with Subway’s business and growth objectives, drive revenue and manage execution and measure performance.
  • Work closely with the Business Units (Countries) within EMEA to understand their needs and subsequently prioritise backlogs to enable development teams to deliver features that meet requirements, acceptance criteria, and business expectations.
  • Partner closely with developers, designers, Scrum Masters, and interdependent technology teams to effectively deliver value for guests both within the EMEA region and the Global Digital & Technology functions
  • Work side-by-side with Operations to ensure that what we build digitally can be delivered in the restaurants flawlessly and is embraced by our franchisee’s and sandwich artists.
  • Maximise ROI of Digital products through a programme of continuous improvement and testing to enhance the Guest & Sandwich Artist experience
  • Develop best practice and guidelines on digital products to be shared with smaller markets and to support MFZEs
