We exclusively provide services to people suffering with symptoms thought to be caused by problems with the stomach and oesophagus. There are literally millions of people who regularly experience sometimes debilitating symptoms looking for assistance with diagnosis and treatment and we aim to help them. We work with experts in their fields and offer the most up-to-date diagnostic and treatment options.

RefluxUK are now looking to recruit a new member of our marketing team for a varied marketing role, with opportunities for growth. They will be responsible for much of the digital marketing aspect of our business, including SEO/PPC, B2B and B2C email-marketing, content marketing (including copywriting) as well as working on larger projects in the company.
Ideally, but not necessarily, they will have experience of digital marketing in a private healthcare environment.
They will have good communication and analytical skills, as well as being used to working with SalesForce/Marketing Cloud, GoogleAds/GA4 and copywriting.
They will be independent and goal-oriented, while also being able to work in and as a team, and have a desire to grow within their role.

The successful candidate will work in a small team dedicated to help RefluxUK grow. They will have to be flexible, bring a positive attitude, be a good team player and be willing to take responsibility. They must like to have fun. Most importantly they will show us that they are passionate to help grow the business’s capabilities to be the best at what it does – caring for, diagnosing, and treating patients with reflux and reflux-related disorders.

Key Responsibilities of a Digital Marketing Associate:

  • Development, optimisation and monitoring/reporting of PPC campaigns.
  • SEO/SEM work for website development including ongoing improvements, UX and optimisation based on analytics and business growth, including copywriting.
  • Create, monitor and improve on email campaigns (B2C and B2B campaigns) with the use of SalesForce and MarketingCloud, including email content creation.
  • Perform research and reporting around PPC/SEO, relevant trends, and areas for growth.
  • Keep up to date with the evolving digital space and relevant industry events that may have an impact on campaign strategy and performance.
  • Reporting across all channels to optimise conversion rates and measure ROI for marketing activities and make suggestions for improvements.
  • Conduct quarterly market research, competitive analysis and performance reports.
  • Monitor marketing metrics (Google Analytics, AdWords) against KPIs and analyse for weekly reports.
  • Assist Line Manager in larger marketing and development projects where needed.

Key Competencies of a Digital Marketing Specialist

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a Digital Marketing role or similar
  • Experience working in private healthcare
  • Proven skills in understanding and implementing PPC/SEO strategy.
  • Experience in use of GoogleAds and Google Analytics 4.
  • Strong IT literacy; proficient in MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Confident using Salesforce and, preferably, MarketingCloud.
  • Understanding of conversion rates, ROI and customer value.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data and draw actionable insights via Excel (or other software) and report writing.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under short deadlines as required.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while striving to reach targets set by Line Manager and Directors.
