Job description

We’re looking for a creative and proactive Digital Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator with multi-channel experience to join our small, friendly communications team. You will use your skills in digital and social media communications to enhance and grow our profile, create impact and support the delivery of SCMA’s wider marketing and communications strategy

The Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA) is the national voice of childminding in Scotland. SCMA is a national Third Sector and membership organisation that promotes childminding as a quality childcare service. Working on behalf of its 3,000 childminder members, SCMA helps to improve the wellbeing and outcomes for Scotland’s children and aims to influence policy to ensure that it is informed by the experiences of childminding. SCMA provides a wide range of support and professional services for members including training and events as well as delivering local services. The successful applicant will coordinate digital marketing activity to deliver high profile campaigns for SCMA which align with brand values. You will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Team to assist with the development of a Digital Content Strategy, review SCMA’s current social media footprint and make recommendations for its future direction.

We are keen to attract someone with a high standard of written and spoken communication including a flair for creating engaging copy with excellent storytelling skills. The postholder is required to have proven ability to prioritise work and forward plan. Enthusiasm, self-motivation and excellent organisational skills are also required.

Part-time 18 hrs per week, Salary £25,465- £27,940 (pro rata per annum)

The post is home/office based, SCMA offer hybrid working which requires weekly attendance at our head office in Stirling.
