Brief overview of the role:
Red Olive is looking for a digital marketing apprentice. The roles offers lots of variety including working on social media campaigns, email campaigns, writing blogs and white papers.

Working week:
Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30

Main responsibilities:
1. Working collaboratively to prepare, manage and execute marketing activity including digital, email, direct, blogs, and white papers delivered both in-house and with 3rd party agencies.
2. Promoting the assets created to Red Olive’s target audience through a variety of channels including social media, particularly LinkedIn, and driving traffic to the company website to create marketing leads for follow-up.
3. Focused and process-orientated, able to ensure a constant flow of successful campaigns and general marketing activity is maintained to support the demands of our growing company.
4. Managing the CRM database and the prospect and customer data the company holds.
5. Event planning, management, and resource coordination.
6. Writing and proofreading copy.
7. Assisting in developing new ideas to help the business move forward.

Requirements and prospects


Qualifications Required:

Grade C/4 or above in both English and Maths and any related business or digital qualification.

Desired skills:
  • Good copywriting skills.
  • Experience using applications including WordPress and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse competitive market data.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task with solid organisational and time-management skills.

Personal Qualities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, creative, energetic, self-confident, and highly motivated team player.
  • Able to work individually and unsupervised as well as part of a wider team.

Training to be provided:

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Digital Marketer qualification, with training in how to:

  • Source, plan, develop and deploy digital content across a variety of channels
  • Execute multi-channel digital campaigns using online platforms
  • Monitor and evaluate channel and campaign performance using different analytical tools
  • Adopt a test and learn approach to digital marketing activities, making recommendations for improvement

All training is delivered online in virtual classrooms twice per week

You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed

Future Prospects:
Potential full-time role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.
