Job description
About us:
- We are a bed and mattress retailer specialising in white glove two man delivery to the room of choice. We offer a bespoke and customer oriented delivery service.
About you:
- We are looking for a reliable delivery driver with a clean drivers licence to assist our full time team of self-employed drivers.
Our dream candidate has:
- Experience in the delivery industry
- Ability to safely lift and assist in lifting relatively heavy items
- Essential to be punctual and extremely dependable and commit to a 6am start time
- Experience picking and loading delivery runs
- Experience with assembly services
- Proficiency with iPhones and basic IT skills
- Excellent time management skills
- A sense of urgency and drive to get things done to required standard
- A polite and respectful approach to customers and colleagues alike
- Flexible and able to assist with ad hoc duties in the warehouse and workshop as business requires from time to time
- Clean driving record (no points)
Additional information:
- This is a full time self-employed role
- Monday to Friday 6am start
- Foreign language skills are welcome (we have a diverse team)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
