Laura Shimili Mears Photography is a photography studio in Tooting, Southwest London. The company provides professional photography for headshots and personal branding for professionals, entrepreneurs and founders and corporate team photography for companies.

The studio provides photography services to around 100-120 clients a year and has been operating since 2017.

The studio is run by the founder and main photographer Laura Shimili who is also a qualified mentor and networking group host for small businesses in Southwest London.

Brief job description:

Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketing Apprentice with Laura Shimili Mears Photography, a photography studio based in Southwest London.

Job Description:

Digital Marketing Assistant to assist in digital marketing strategy and implementation and content creation across the different platforms the studio uses to advertise and market its services.

This includes creating content for the website and blogs, content for Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest as well as monitoring and evaluating performance across all channels.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

• Create and implement the marketing strategy focusing on increasing brand awareness, enquiries, and photography studio bookings.
• Follow through with the actions in the implementation plan and in line with the content strategy.
• Research and write blogs for the website.
• Create and post content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
• Follow suggestions from the SEO expert in terms of keywords and blogs strategy.
• Monitor performance and make suggestions for improvement.

Qualifications:

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Skills Required:

Good knowledge of content creation for various platforms, branding and design to maintain consistent branding and voice.

Personal qualities:

• Organised,
• Can follow instructions,
• Good timekeeping, attention to detail,
• Can ask for help if stuck,
• Can finish tasks and use their own initiative.

• Source, plan, develop and deploy digital content across a variety of channels including your website and social media.
• Execute multi-channel digital campaigns using online platforms.
• Monitor and evaluate channel and campaign performance using different analytical tools.
• Adopt a test and learn approach to digital marketing activities, making recommendations for improvement.
