We're looking for a Digital Marketing/Social Media Executive with a real love for skincare and beauty to work alongside our Marketing Director to help manage our social media channels and marketing campaigns.
As a small company you'll get to try your hand at lots of different marketing activities and really get to help build and develop our portfolio of brands. This role presents an opportunity to help spearhead our strategy with a generous helping of creative freedom, and working alongside our Marketing Director gives you complete autonomy over tasks, indulging your inner perfectionist to really set the standard.
We want you to create amazing content, primarily on Instagram and TikTok but also across the other platforms, with the objective of growing our social media following and engagement, ensuring we have content that tells the unique story of our brands and strongly resonates with our target audiences.
You will collaborate widely across the whole business including Sales and the NPD team, bringing your knowledge and passion for all things social to create a buzz about everything you are doing. At the same time you will work very closely with our Marketing Director to analyse data and optimise our content strategies, providing clear and regular reporting to the business on performance and results.
Responsibilities:
- Grow brand awareness through social media.
- Help build and manage our influencer and partnership community.
- To be a content creator on TikTok, Instagram and any other social media platform both behind the scenes and potentially in front of the camera
- Creation of monthly brand content plans with approval and sign off from key stakeholders and then scheduling of posts
- The booking & monitoring of social media advertising spend with our external agency alongside the Marketing Director in accordance to the signed off media laydowns.
- Working with the Marketing Director as appropriate on external PR, brand competitions and partnerships on social platforms
- Community management including responding to direct messages
- The weekly delivery of brand social dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Work with Marketing Director on the analysis of campaign performance against KPIs; making recommendations for future campaign activity, paying close attention to continual improvement of the effectiveness of content to drive engagement and awareness
- Monitor local social channels and ensure execution is in line with group and market objectives
- Review wider competitor and industry activity to ensure all plans are best in class, have strong messaging cut through and are fuelled by the latest trends.
- Develop and manage alongside the Marketing Director the social strategy for our brand portfolio.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
A social media native who lives and breathes skincare and beauty. You'll have knowledge of all the different social media platforms but with a real passion for TikTok and Instagram.
- Highly creative skillset with the ability to produce a high level of engaging post and video content for use on TikTok and other social media platforms
- Ability to produce engaging copy in multiple brand tones of voice
- Ability to produce and schedule email campaigns
- Excellent communicator with strong relationship skills and the ability to liaise with influencers, brand partners, external agencies and key stakeholders
- Commercially focused and results driven
- Flexible and resilient
- Extremely well organised with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about social media and actively aware of the latest trends within the beauty industry
- Fully conversant with Klaviyo, Facebook Business Manager and Tiktok Business Manager.
Good to have:
- Proven track record of running multiple branded social media sites, across multiple platforms including TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, ideally within beauty or fashion.
- Educated to degree level in business administration, marketing or comparable degree.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office packages.
