Position
Role Summary and Expectations
As a Designer, you will be an original thinker and a skilled craftsperson who values brand consistency. Working closely with fellow Designers, Art Directors, Writers, and UXers, you will report to the Design Supervisor/Group Design Supervisor and be responsible for transforming creative concepts into beautiful and engaging designs. Your creativity, curiosity, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities will be essential as you collaborate with the team to deliver outstanding design solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Copywriters, and UXers to translate creative concepts into visually stunning designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team on implementation feasibility to ensure that Interaction Design is realizable
- Design effective structures and flows grounded in consistent, extensible conceptual models that mirror customers' mental models
- Lead projects into uncharted creative territories, exploring innovative ideas and pushing the boundaries of design.
- Identify user needs and interpret client challenges to develop innovative design concepts.
- Define visual language and create cohesive brand experiences across multiple healthcare categories.
- Work closely with the team to ensure brand consistency and adherence to design principles.
- Apply strong typography, colour theory, and illustrative skills to create visually impactful designs.
- Solve design problems creatively, finding unique solutions that meet project objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, actively participating in brainstorming sessions and design critiques.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design techniques, continuously improving your design skills.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality designs.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Visual Designer or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional craft, design flair, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in typography, colour theory, and illustration, with a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Solid understanding of design principles, brand consistency, and visual storytelling.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for delivering great design solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with a diverse team.
- Curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and improve your design skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Advanced command of Adobe Creative Suite & FigmaPrototyping, Motion, and technical design skills are a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in digital design, graphic design, graphic communications, visual arts, or related field
Experience
- 1+ years of related experience in an agency setting
- A portfolio of completed design projects preferred
