Our role
As a Designer at Havas Lynx Group, you are responsible for establishing the conceptual execution of design projects and campaigns. You will work in conjunction with the Creative team on all design solutions, including digital, interactive, and print. You will also alongside the Client Services team to communicate with the client when appropriate, whilst ensuring the Studio is represented correctly at all times.
Role responsibilities
- Demonstrate an understanding of the clients’ business needs, showing understanding and relevance to the target market.
- Support the creative team by producing creative work across a range of projects, which is appropriate and exceeds the client’s brief
- Actively further your skills in core design applications, including, but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator, Print, Digital UX and InDesign and ensure to share this knowledge with the design team
- Ensure the work that you produce in terms of QC, accuracy to brief, quality of output and the intended impact of work is completed to deadline and of a high quality.
- Take ownership of time and commercial understanding of the project for both your work and the juniors you work with
- Excel at your design skills (both graphic and visual) when it comes to visual communication (including typography, UX, UI, image use etc.), design principles (e.g. balance, hierarchy, alignment, repetition, contrast etc.), design ideation and problem solving (research, moodboards, idea generation etc.), branding (identify, logo, palettes, graphics etc.) craft/execution impact, UX and design strategy and actively bring these skills to each brief
- Effectively visualise and create concepts into the final product, supporting the Senior and Lead Designers in giving direction on photography style, imagery, typography, iconography and tone of voice with an eye towards localisation needs
- Collaborate with a variety of disciplines, both internally and externally, to develop design solutions
- Liaise with the Client Services team to determine project objectives, budget, background information and presentation approaches, styles and techniques
