Deputy Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, Intermediate Care Lambeth
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Occupational Therapist to join the service for a fixed term of 18 months to share the leadership and further development of this innovative community multidisciplinary team.
We are looking for a registered and practicing Occupational Therapist with experience of having worked in various settings across the Integrated Care pathway, with particular emphasis on community working.
You will be a skilled and confident leader, demonstrating advanced communication skills including the ability to engage others across the multidisciplinary team in service redesign and manage all aspects of change. You will have a sound understanding of current pathways experienced by people with immediate and long term rehabilitation needs and an awareness of the gaps and challenges experienced in this setting, combined with a desire to innovate and explore new ways of working.
As an expert practitioner, you will provide expert clinical and professional guidance to junior Occupational Therapists across the wider community Intermediate Care Services and also spend at least 50% of your time directly on clinical tasks. You will share the operational management of the Intermediate Care Lambeth Service (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation support workers, Nurses and Pharmacists).
You will work as a member of the service’s leadership team, working closely with Deputy Clinical Leads and Clinical Specialists as well as the Clinical Lead of the Service.
