Role overview
Swiss Laundry is a highly successful, family-run laundry company that has a proud history going back well over 100 years. We are a key supplier to many prestigious hotels, academic establishments, holiday parks, and restaurants.
As a Driver, you would be working as part of our logistics team based in Papworth. The role will involve visiting our customer sites across the region.
As well as driving, the role requires a good level of physical fitness, with a great deal of manual handling, loading, unloading, and moving of cages and bags.
As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for somebody that is presentable, polite, has a positive attitude. If that is you, we would love to hear from you!
The successful candidate will:
- Ideally have experience in a similar role
- Be able to work well on their own and as part of a team
- Have no more than 3 points on their Driving Licence
- Have no Dangerous Driving (DD) convictions
- Licence up to 7.5t vehicles
- Digital Tacho Card
- CPC
The role is 45 hours per week Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00am – 3:00pm. (To be able to work the occasionally Saturday Morning is preferable at overtime rate) The associated salary will be provided at the interview stage.
