Navig8 An international shipowner and operator providing vessel/pool management services. Navig8 commercially manages a fleet of 300+ vessels and offers unique investment opportunities to stakeholders and partners.

Plus, shipping agencies, and shipping tech companies focused on decarbonization solutions.

The Team:

The role will sit with the central marketing team, but you will also work closely with product managers, engineers, content managers, platform developers, and external agencies.

We’re diverse bunch of people who enjoy collaborating, and regular after work socials, team days out, summer events on our terrace, and have a football team/fantasy football competitions.

The Role:

We’re looking for a creative and innovative designer to join us at our busy head office in London Victoria. This is a unique opportunity to be the lead in-house designer responsible for delivering projects and BAU activity for the brands in our diverse, global group. We are looking for an all-rounder who is comfortable working across multiple channels and disciplines.

Working across our “start-up” businesses as well as supporting the established, industry leading companies in the group, no day is the same. You will be tasked with elevating the presentation of our brands, ensuring we stand out against competitors with designs that reflect our visionary nature. You will work directly with stakeholders, defining/interpreting their briefs and seeing the project through from ideation to completion, therefore strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New brand development; including logo design, colour palette/font selection and brand guideline creation.
  • Be our brand guardian. Understand and work within brand guidelines to ensure the brand experience is consistent across all touch points.
  • Help maintain, evolve, and systemise our brand assets and templates.
  • Produce engaging digital and offline assets (posters, email/web banners, adverts, GIFs) to be delivered through email, social media and display campaigns.
  • Design landing pages and email templates.
  • Work with our content teams to produce engaging industry reports and case studies.
  • Support sales with the production of PowerPoint presentations and sales collateral.
  • Keep abreast of current design trends, tools, techniques, and competitor activities to help inspire creativity, differentiate ourselves, and remain instantly recognizable in our sector.
  • Assist the marketing team in keeping website content up to date.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar role (B2B/SaaS product, or agency experience advantageous).
  • Collaborative and amenable to changes under direction, offering creative solutions to challenges.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agency-like environment with strong organisational and time planning skills.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Adobe CC; Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • A strong and broad portfolio which demonstrates your experience in design, ideally gained within a marketing team at a tech-forward, product-driven company.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking!
  • Understanding of HTML and modern email design techniques.
  • Experience in using data to create clear visual narratives using charts and infographics.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for spelling and grammar.

Bonus Skills:

  • Comfortable designing and building web pages on platforms like Wordpress, Hubspot and Wix (or willing to learn).
  • Ability to design and build html email templates from scratch desirable but not essential.
  • Video editing skills and/or ability to create simple animations/GIFS (or willing to learn).
