We are looking to fill a Staff Accountant position with the leading company in the MPHQ portfolio, which is the largest privately held services and solutions company in a 2+ billion-dollar healthcare market segment.
You will be successful in this role if you can identify patterns, think strategically but also jump into the weeds to get things done. Ideal candidate will have up to 7 years of corporate accounting with some sales and marketing analytics experience. As well as a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce.com.

Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to the general ledger
- Monitor, analyze and reconcile prepaid expenses, miscellaneous receivables, accruals and other balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist the Controller or management in tracking and forecasting expense activity
- Support operations personnel with daily, weekly, and monthly metric calculations
- Assist in monthly closing, annual budgets, audits, system implementations
- Receive customer payments via credit card or electronic check
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments or accounts
- Continuous improvement of processes
- Use various platforms (Pardot, SalesForce, Google Analytics, PowerBI, etc.) to analyze customer/transactional data to determine the impact of marketing campaigns and sales activities on customer behavior across several companies and segments.
- Monitor all QC data to identify opportunities to increase efficiency and capitalize on sales opportunities
- Leverage new and emerging AI tools to drive reporting efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, and/or Marketing Analytics (Required)
- Up to 7 years of experience in corporate accounting function (Required)
- Proficiency in Excel (Required)
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Experience managing large amounts of data/transactions in Excel or another analytical tool
- Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting competencies
- Proficiency in MS Office and competency in computer software
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Must be dependable, able to multi-task and the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to think outside the box
- Curiosity to identify new ways of looking at data to uncover opportunities
